BEFORE AFTER Rules of third photo
Rules of thirds is when the photographer has the subject in line with the guide lines intersecting points and the horizon is lined up with the upper or lower guide lines. For example, say I was taking a photo of a tree with the sun rising in the background. I would put the tree in the right hand side of the photo and not in the middle and I would try to catch the horizon at the top. Rule of thirds did enhance my photos because the thing I want my audience to see are the water droplets on the ends of the pine needles.
